Drama Update

March is literally ending in a week. So when did we start 2015? Wow. Well Happy SPRING Y’ALL.

Anyways, I really need to keep up with my word, but my life is just rolling on by with no stop date, so just so y’all know, I am NOT A FLAKY RECAPPER. However, I am avidly keeping up with some recent dramas and old ones.

As you might have guessed, I stopped recapping “What Happens to my Family.” I stopped watching at episode 48. I guess one day I will finish it and begin a mini-recap on it. ONE DAY????

So what are dramas that I have finished watching or currently watching and just need to give my review on.  Since some awesome drama sites has provided us with recaps, no need to recap a recap that is already out there. Here is my really short list of the dramas that I watched on-air.

You might have guessed it:

Korean Drama:    2 ❤  This drama was my kick back to drama-land. It was what I needed to get me out of my drama slum. TVN really did a number on this and the actors, Choi Kang-Hee and Chun Jung-myung. Oops I think I am giving myself too much…be still my ❤  Guess I need to sit down and write the review. 🙂 Please do expect it soon (I MEAN MY WORD THIS TIME)

Taiwanese Drama: Someone Like You. Kingone Wang and Kristen Ren are really making their characters come to life. This once-a-week drama itself is full of eye-rolls. I think I had a headache for two days because I popped a vessel from rolling my eyes a lot. Nonetheless, it is a  drama that just makes you want to fall in love if given a second chance to do it all over again. It is still on-going. So far 11 episodes has been aired. It is melodramatic as Ren’s character is such a puppy and… oops, guess  I will explain what I mean when I write on it, but it is not too dramatic. Keep an eye out for this guys, no pun intended. Don’t you feel the chemistry already?

So yea, it really is a super short list of what I am watching. Sad right. 😥 I am not into “fan-watching.” Other popular dramas like “Heal me, Kill me” looks really good and despite my love for Ji Sung and Hwang Jang-Eum, I really couldn’t get into the bandwagon on watching. If it is that good, please do let me know…maybe I will marathon it.

However, to keep my drama blood rolling until I get to watch my anticipated dramas coming soon, I am watching previously aired shows:

Taiwanese drama: Office Girls.

Synopsis by Wiki addict: “Qin Zi Qi is a MBA graduate who has everything handed to him because he is the future successor of Jingshi Department Store. However, his father worries he will not make a good manager and decides to train him by having him work as an entry-level employee for a year. During the year he has to live on his own salary and never reveal his true identity, or he will have to renounce his succession right. Qin could not have survived the year has it not been for Shen Xing Reng’s office survival guide. Shen is a Jingshi marketing specialist who has just saved her first $100,000 for the down payment on a house. She works very hard to achieve her goal. Together, Shen and Qin accomplish the impossible, which is to shine on the bottom of the office pyramid.”

I LIKE THIS DRAMA A LOT…not a lot of tension…just a slow and simple and natural romance between the Alice Ke’s Shen Xing Ren and Roy Qiu’s Qin Zi Qi. Though, the drama gets wacky due to the extension, but we still get a good lip-smacking at the end to make up for the second-half craziness.

Recommendation: 4/5..if you don’t mind crazy.

ANTICIPATED K-DRAMAS

I am gearing my mind to the K-drama remake of “In Time With You” with Ariel Lin and Bo-Lin Chen. So far, we have news on a potential leading lady Han Ji Won, one of my favorites actress EVA! >:O and and unknown maybe leads between Rain and Lee Jin-Wook for “The Time That I Loved You, 7000 Days.” I mean I would settle for Go Soo, but you know, let’s cross our hands (I want Rain though hehe)
